The Clash Of Ages: How Technology Divides Workers : NPR
- interesting article about potential clashes bewteen managers, older workers vs young 20 somethings over the use of social networking tools on the job. At my workplace I really haven’t noticed a problem. Good thing though ‘cause most everyone messes around on the web a lot; they also work hard and get their work done. The generational stereotype is not always accurate either; I’m a baby boomer and I love to surf the web and use social networks.

The plan was a political problem for the company, with the UAW saying it was wrong to take U.S. taxpayer loans and then ship jobs overseas.

sunday evening....
I was out shopping today; bought some shorts, polos, and a jacket. I got a lot of walking around in and now I’m right tired. I guess I did my part to help the economy or at least the American retail workers and the Chinese sweatshop workers. It would be good if we started to make things right here in the USA again ! Not likely though.
